A History of Sustainability
Since inception in 2016, MUTE has been dedicated to improving sustainability through offering affordable electric transport to riders across the globe.
MUTE believes individuals can make small choices to collectively create a big impact on climate change.
MUTE engaged a dedicated ESG Manager in 2021, and partnering with (more:trees) addresses the environment aspect of the 3 pillars the ESG stands for.
In conjunction to the electric scooter subscription business model, Australian entrepreneur, Patrick Davin, initiated dedicating funds to plant one tree in an Australian rural property for every new electric bike purchased by MUTE for its global fleet of electric scooters available on a subscription-based membership.
This ongoing commitment to foster a lower carbon footprint while growing the company has been a fun and green side effect of the MUTE Global electric {r}evolution.
2022 – The Future is Now!
Having successfully established the MUTE program in China and Indonesia, MUTE prepares for expansion to offer electric scooter and moped subscriptions in the United Kingdom and Europe.
Having grown beyond their initial South East Asian markets, MUTE has partnered with the more:trees program in the United Kingdom to continue this dedication to make the world a greener place.

By partnering with (more:trees), MUTE’s commitment to plant a tree for every new bike it adds to its electric fleet stays a reality as the company grows into the UK and Europe.
Every new moped or electric vehicle in the region will provide a contribution to MUTE’s ‘tree inventory’ and not only reduce carbon emissions through electric transportation but help grow a forest at the same time.
